Co-organized by Digital October, Kite Ventures and TechCrunch and supported by the Russian Association for Electronic Communications, the 4th TechCrunch Moscow carried on the tradition of showcasing the most promising startups, uncovering the latest news and discussing the emerging technology trends and breakthroughs coming out of Russia.
Theme of this year's conference is Innovation Detox. We focused on the prime purpose of innovation - addressing the fundamental human needs more efficiently to increase the quality of life. From quantified self to healthy lifestyle, from smart choices in personal finance to educated entertainment. We discussed global trends, new heroes and spectacular failures, toxic investments and viral startups. As always, the conference was accompanied by the Startup Alley and pitches competition, featuring over 50 up-and-coming Russian startups.
Highlights of TechCrunch Moscow 2013:
